MRI 2
September 28th, 2002 @ 9:27 PM in Medical ReportsAs I said yesterday, I had an appointment today for an MRI. So my parents and I go there after 70 minutes of driving, and you know what they tell me? After I tell them that I have to be sedated, they said they don’t have a nurse on the weekends and therefore they can not give me any medications.
But I can’t remain still—especially in that noisy machine all tied up.
Almost fortunately, my previous neurologist gave me something to take before an MRI. She was going to do the MRI for me back in Hawaii, but there was no opening and no time for us. Well, anyway, she prescribed me these 2 pills and said that they would knock me out good. Hell, they didn’t do shit
I have a very strong resistance to medications.
Gee, now I’m concerned about the surgery itself. I mean, if I’m that resistant, they would have hard time preparing me for the surgery and even during the surgery. What if it wears off sooner than expected or even prepared? / / Well, from those pills I took this morning, I have this migraine-like headache right now, but I do feel relieved that it’s over and done with. ![]()
