Sniper shootings, part 4
October 29th, 2002 @ 12:40 PM in Society & Media‘m glad to hear that the feds got involved in this case; otherwise, the snipers might not get their just punishments. I mean, if they go through long trials, it would be such a waste of taxpayer’ money, and who knows, they might get lighter punishments. Besides, an example has to be set for future attackers and/or terrorists.
I personally believe in capital punishments. Wha’s the point of keeping them alive in a prison? It would be a total waste of resources. If it can change that person, if would’t be such a waste; however, in most cases, tha’s not possible. People change, but their fundamental foundation cannot be changed.
I thought they would be handed over to their country, but I guess the U.S. government is going to handle this case, which is one of the reasons why the feds got involved in the first place. Hope Jamaica wo’t retaliate.
