Accomplishments
December 30th, 2002 @ 6:38 PM in RantsI think it was yesterday when I started feeling that my life is more pathetic than usual. As the year 2002 is ending, I keep thinking what I have accomplished this year. Well, I earned my my BBA almost six months ago, but ‘m unemployed and not even attending school; ‘m just wasting my life away with my medical reasons as an excuse. Besides, most people can graduate and get degrees if they put enough efforts, so ther’s nothing special in my getting the degree.
You might say otherwise–that I have accomplished “something” despite my disability. However, I do’t think my disability has got anything to do with what I have accomplished. I mean, I may have some physical limitations, but I do’t have problems in any other areas. In fact, I do think ‘m pretty good at logic and therefore, programming, and ‘m a quick learner.
So in another word, ‘m saying I have’t accomplished anything that can be labeled as special or grandeur. I do’t want to be just somebody on this planet; I want to be “somebody” who means something special to this society.
Ok, I do’t know where ‘m on going with this, so ‘ll stop here . . . ![]()
