Last name

‘m really annoyed at the fact that most people I talk to on the phone get my last name as “Tark.” I just noticed that the reminder letter I received from Virginia Mason Medical Center has “Michael Tark” on it. The receptionist obviously misunderstood my pronunciation when I made the appointment. Dang, I want a new last name! :lol:

I know my pronunciation can be bad at times, but people should really ask if they are not so sure of what they heard. :roll: The same thing happened with Qwest and AT&T. All this time, they had it as “Tark” even though they were receiving payments under “Park.” I’s a common sense… sheesh! :roll:

Well, anyway, does anybody know if there is such a last name as “Tark”? I have’t heard of that one before.

    o_O You should hear how my maiden name has been spelled and pronounced. I always say *that* person is’t here b/c i’s always soo far off base :eek: :D o_O
