Incompetency
May 22nd, 2005 @ 7:57 PM in RantsI recently had to call Verizon Tech Support because of an annoying sync problem, which I can’t afford to have since I’m using a VoIP service, and after 24 hours or so, they have just “patched” it by reducing the speed to half instead of fixing the damn problem.
I have to call them again tomorrow… arg!
I sent them an e-mail via their “contact us” page, but I bet they are just gonna tell me to call it in, which I dread doing.
Update: I spent an entire morning with their low-level techs who had me go through that dreadful basic troubleshooting. They wouldn’t open a trouble ticket otherwise. It turned out to be a problem on their end. Damn their ticketing policy! ![]()

I’ve thought of drying this, but haven’t found a good use for it when I have my cell phone and it has free long distance.
