Another DBS Story

I’ve gone through practically the same thing as described in this article except that I had two separate operations in three months.  I also wasn’t as young as Alex, and it’s been four years since my operations.  I always thought that the age was a major factor, but after reading this article, I’m not so sure anymore.  Perhaps I belong to that “one fifth” group. :x

In any case, I wish the best for Alex… :)

    I’ve come to learn that we just don’t know God’s will. What is meant to be is but we all have lessons to learn from everything that happens to us. I pray that you get some relief from the Dystonia. Do you see a specialist for this?

    Yes, I do. But he’s so booked that I get to see him only twice a year.
