Skelaxin is Wearing Off
November 25th, 2007 @ 9:38 AM in Medical ReportsSkelaxin has worn off about 95% now. When I first started taking it, it was great for a couple of days. I immediately noticed that most of my abnormal spasms were gone, and I could drink water out of a cup without spasming. After a few days, however, my body became rigid and very sensitive — especially the left side of my body. So I contacted my neurologist on what I should do, and he told me to take it with Valium. And it was great for the next couple of months thereafter.
However, since about one month ago, I started having problems with my left leg and foot: my knee would curl up and stay tense when getting dressed, and my foot would turn inward when walking. All of my senses, including my own thoughts, became very sensitive; i.e., I’d get startled by the sound of a pin dropping, and even my own thought made me tense up. In another word, I was a nervous wreck. My walking has been terrible because of those symptoms
Now that it’s almost worn off, I got a freaking cold! ![]()
