New Battery Problem
April 8th, 2008 @ 7:09 PM in EtceteraSo, I got the new battery for my laptop yesterday afternoon. The thing is that the battery status indicator (green) light doesn’t stop blinking even after 2 hours of charging. It IS supposed to blink when the charging gets almost done and then stop completely at 100% charge. The battery doesn’t seem to get charged above 98% which is why the friggin’ light doesn’t stop blinking.
The FAQ at the seller’s site states that it usually takes 2-4 cycles to be able to charge 100%. However, I don’t think I had to do that when I first got this laptop.
Any thought?

Wonder why that would be… hope it stops blinking!

There are minor differences between every battery. If this does not occur with other batteries then at least it’s not your laptop (and probably nothing else than an annoyance).
