Sliders: TV Series with Most Advanced Science

As far as I know, Sliders was the first TV science fiction series to introduce string theory and multiple dimensions. As a SCI-FI fan and a geek, I loved this show… and now its first season is available online at Hulu!
I firmly believe in parallel universes, and I console myself sometimes by thinking that I might be living a completely different life in another dimension.
