Summer Has Begun
May 16th, 2008 @ 5:12 PM in Etcetera…and I hate it! Today’s highest temperature is 101°F — almost 20° higher than yesterday. It’s too abrupt of a change with no time to adapt. On top of that, humidity is also pretty high. I like Autumn as it’s not too hot or cold.
Which season do you prefer?

I think every season has it charms, but I prefer spring. I am used to working in a tropical indoor swimming pool where the temperature was always high and the humidity even worse so I don’t have as much trouble with the high temperatures.

Well it’s difficult to say which season since I live in Washington and it feels like we don’t have seasons. I really think one day it’s going to snow in July. But I hate this hot weather. Anything sunny, but cool is perfect.

I love the summer and that’s why I live in Florida. But having Myasthenia Gravis makes handling the heat very difficult for me now. I still enjoy it as much as I can though.

I’ve lived in Hawaii for over 14 years and 13 years in Korea, so I’d already get used to it. But I’m not.
