Have you decided to open a company page on Facebook a year ago but no one interacts with it? Do you try to share content every hour but you don’t have results? If the closest thing on your timeline is barrels (better known as Wild West balls), these tips will come in handy black profile:
- What a happy time! We get nostalgic. A Community Manager must know their audience perfectly and know what type of questions generate the most interaction. Without a doubt, a resource that does not usually fail is to ask about something important that has happened in the past. Indirectly, you make your followers look back and want to share how they remember that event. It’s like when you interact with your grandparents or parents, they always have some story to tell you.
- If you want them to click like, ask them. Ok, according to Facebook this violates the rules but… there are many tricks to do it indirectly. An example is posting statuses like this: “Let’s see how many likes we get, who is reading this from their mobile device?” It is very important to be creative when publishing images or posts. A greater number of “likes” means a greater number of visibility and therefore more followers.
- Emoticons. What would chats and relationships be without this tool? The CM who has not used an emoticon in his life should cast the first stone. Something as simple as a smiling or sad face can increase your likes by 57%.
-The videos. Sharing short, funny and interesting videos is also a way to get greater engagement. Always take care of the title and description when sharing it. That is, if the video is about kittens, don’t fool us with an interesting description.
-And finally never forget to answer. If someone bothers to waste five minutes of their life to leave you a comment on your timeline, on a photo of a product or service, you should be polite enough and give them a response. Liking the message is also valid but surely that user will not write to you again because he has not found what he was looking for, interaction. As they would say in Toy Story, Social Media practices: “there is a friend in me.”
